For the longest time, I've wanted to figure out a way to record my spending so that I could categorize and keep track of where my money is going. That way I could see how much I was spending on food, gas, etc. each month and how it compares to the other categories of spending. However, I am also lazy about manual labor so the thought of entering everything I spend into some kind of system didn't seem very glamorous. But now I have discovered the solution to my problems. It is called Mint.

Woke up to a dark orange sky this morning. There's a bit of burning happening in Santiago Canyon and it's spreading. Right now it's around the Portola and Jeffrey intersection. I had to take the 5 freeway to work this morning because Irvine Blvd. was closed near Jeffrey. You can see the fire coming over the hills from work. I'll let you know if I have to evacuate my apartment later.

I made the mistake last night of eating a hot dog from 7 Eleven. The food poisoning kicked in at around 2:00am and every hour and a half after that. It was worse than the time when I got food poisoning in the dorms. Jeremy probably remembers that. Needless to say I didn't go to work today. I think I learned my lesson.
Correction: I guess 7 Eleven wasn't to blame but a Japanese place Steve and I went for lunch. He came down with similar symptoms.
Double Correction: Okay, this is getting old but this time it's confirmed to be true. Found out a lot of people that went to the wedding I went to this weekend got sick from the food (might have been the tri-tip). I hope the bride and groom are doing alright.
